The taking up/ drinking more alcohol thread....

I saw this *crazy* thing on holiday once, where they pass air through a container of alcohol, then you breathe in the air which now has alcohol in it. I believe it is quite dangerous in large amounts and doesnt do the old grey matter much good, but gets you very drunk very quickly.
As to your houses, where are you at? My friends in Preston just sold their house, was on the market for 8 days and they got full asking price, which was priced well, certainly not discounted for a quick sale or anything.. Sold signs going up everywhere around here.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -
I can't believe how irresponsible other posters are being. You don't want to be drinking vast amounts when you can get the same effect more quickly with shots.
Couple of glugs of sambuca and you may not be able to focus both eyes on the same object but you'll not really care.
Good luck OPOpinion, advice and information are different things. Don't be surprised if you receive all 3 in response.0 -
I also cannot believe the flippant and downright irresponsible advice that you lot are giving to the OP in her hour of need.
I think that people should remember that this is a money saving site.
Home brew is obviously the answer.0 -
We are selling 472 helmshore rd (zoopla) want same price we bought it for May last year, as we have an 8K early mortgage termination fee that we will have to pay when we sell also.
and 10 Wilson house Tidworth (rightmove) and 5 Maytrees bristol.
All no glitch places but just no viewers through the door!!
Home brew?!
I love Sambuca!! and Jack Daniels however feel that true alcoholism calls for very regular intake and worry about the high sugar contect of these two.........

I’m jealous.
I’m trying to sell only 2 properties at the moment.
It’s not going well.
I don't drink very much at all but am successfully increasing this at evening classes.
As for tips, all I can suggest is that you try a Bishop’s Finger or two early evening…0 -
I'm trying to sell 130 properties
At the end of an extremely stressful week I'm in possession of 2 bottles of Champagne from two very happy Vendors.
I've opened one bottle (the cheaper one :rotfl:) and i'm definitely on the way to forgetting about my week. I might go all the way later and crack open the Vodka!:eek:My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. I once visited a place in Napa Valley where they made brandy. They showed us the cellar where it ages in oak barrels, well quite a lot is lost to evaporation apparently. I can believe that as after 5 minutes breathing in the (admittedly quite nice) smell I felt a bit sozzled! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0
