Oh and an alright car to put them in!
Those car mats will never be forgotten SS! And maybe Martin will mention the incident in his new book!
Alas, my debt has not been caused by reckless spending, but there have been a few luxuries in there! We sold our tent to OHs uncle for £100 and rather than putting it towards a debt, we bought a PS2 (a bit behind the times I know, but we waited until it was as cheap as possible!). OH and I have loved it and we enjoyed an evening of karaoke last week!!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

My kids:rotfl: Ok I didn't buy them but I sure put a lot of money into raising them.
Luckily they have turned out to be lovely people I'm proud to have DD 23 and DS 20 and they don't own a credit card between them:T I've tried to make sure that they've learnt that lesson.0 -
My house!
Soooooo glad I bought it pre LBM as now may not have done so. I would be debt free now but would never have got on the ladder.
Car? Yes, but looked around for cheap option anyway.
Never really been too extravagent with 'things' just frittered what I had away.0 -
Definitely my laptop, which I bought on my credit card about 6months before LBM. I have a perfectly serviceable PC upstairs, with a flat screen monitor and all the whistles & bells, but I use my lappy all the time (wireless broadband paid for by hubby, who is not in debt).Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

6 months before I addressed our debt and I would certainly not have bought it now. So is there anyone else like me with things they bought they would not have got now?
Can I ask how you're reducing your debts so quickly?Debt as at 12th July 2006 - £61,345
Debt free 21st Oct 2011.
All thanks to :money:0
