Wonder how they worked that one out......perhaps taking additional credit too close to actually submitting a DRO?
Interesting how they opted for revokation of DRO instead of a DRRU.I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.Mae West

thats interesting debt doctor,
I think the overall picture is good with the vast majority going through, and it shows that if you fit the criteria and follow the process properly then you shouldnt have to much trouble
only 18 revoked from 253 objections shows that the OR is showing due diligence to weed out the creditors objecting out of spite rather than for a lawful reasonHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -
what would be an interesting statistic would be how many are revoked because the debtors income increases during the year.
on the revoke versus DRO question, my guess would be that for £90 it is easier and cheaper to revoke it rather than spend the resources on a long investigation. If they then choose bankruptcy there are more resources available.Hi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

I agree, does seem very encouraging in that respect.
Also, some glaring errors by intermediaries unless debtor insisted on the application against advice. (an intermediary CANNOT refuse to process the application if the debtor insists) but presses the "I do not agree with this application" button.

How do the IS police the issue of surplus income over the year?
Do they soley rely on the honesty of the person under the jurastriction of the DRO?I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.Mae West

Interesting how many were revoked due to the 15k being exceeding. I'd imagine that was the main contributory factor in making experian reports essential pre-DRO.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
