Wondered when the 'links' debate would resurface. I got flamed by the same poster for provifdng a link. I was really peeved as I had checked and although CODES aren't allowed - nothing is said about links? Nearly every post has links and I for one am really appreciative.
What I also really disliked was being spoken to like an idiot by someone. Even if a code has been posted, a simple little pleasant reminder gets it changed. I was seriously considered thinking - up yours - and just lurk in future, not posting any grabbits. I hope the OP has been assured that people aren't usually as anal or rude, and will continue to post.
BTW - I actually checked with Claire21 (who is the most brilliant wonderful poster of grabbits on here) as she always posts links - and she told me not to worry about doing it. Hope you don't mind me mentioning it, Claire, but I really repect your opinions and thought - if Claire does it, it must be OK.0 -

lisaleicester, is the code specific for new customers/old customers/people with birthdays in april or can it be used by anyone? I will be buying stuff I don't need just because it is a bargain (as per usual
) and don't want to be hit with a bill later for the £10 as I am aware some people were with one of the catalogues before (Littlewoods I think). Ta If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
my understanding is that its ok to link to the codes on the discount codes part of the forum ??
this thread is justing pointing out the grabbit....

Along with linking to codes, namecalling is not acceptable on MSE.
I am not arguing with someone who seems to think they are above the rules.
Simple answer - thread reported to Abuse.
There will always be one who tries to ruin it for the rest....probably narked because she was pipped to the post with such a great grabbit!
