    A dress for £2.50!? Madness!

I'm too nervous of cyptrocurrency, I don't 100% understand it. For example, I understand that Eth can be used to run other programmes on it, but Bitcoin can only be used to sell to someone else/trade. But with it being so volatile, why would anyone use it to trade? I'm probably entirely wrong. But best of luck with the gamble! Hope it works out and I'd love to hear how it goes.

KP I don’t understand any of it 😂 have handed it over to my little brother who devotes a lot of time to research, he is sending me lots of links to read and telling me what to watch but as of yet I’ve not really looked. He was in Bitcoin which shot up then he’s taken it out to but other more volatile currency. Our £250 has bought 685 AST whatever that means!

I’ll update with what happens 😁

Had a chat with dh tonight who said work (my part anyway)  is backing up again, will they ask me back to help out I wonder? Depends how desperate they are I guess ....

@newgirly - I thought I understood cryptocurrency, but I looked up AST on Reddit and it confused the hell out of me :#

It’s been a hectic few days, good news is dd has got the job she’s been on placement with 🙂 it’s her first full time paid job in the career she has been working towards since she was about fourteen (she’s 24 in July!) So she is over the moon ❤️ So I’ve blown a bit of money from the food budget on a bottle of champagne (supermarket 🙄) a couple of bottles of Prosecco and some flowers to celebrate, well worth it though.

Also a sad couple of days with the loss of the DOE, the royal family may me feel so nostalgic for my childhood as I used to go and watch the queen a lot as a child with my grandad, especially trooping the colour every year. Dh was also lucky enough to meet the Duke at a dinner with the queen after he won a business award a few years ago. They visited the London borough where our factory is and as dh had just won the award he was invited too along with Mayors from all over the country strangely, so he was a bit of a fish out of water to say the least 😆 When introduced in the morning outside he was asked what he did and he told him that he is a b@*kbinder and that we do work for the royal family and also bind the dukes engagement papers each year. A couple of hours later during the lunch, the DOE actually left his table and came and bent down next to dh to ask him all about the work he does and stayed for a little while chatting. I think he was quite an impressive man, I used to sew together these papers every year up until he retired and one year counted well over six hundred separate engagements in one year!

Anyway , must stop waffling on 😆 no mortgage or financial news to report and the personal budget still stands at £3.67 so not much can happen right now!

    Well done to DD!

I think DOE has been an outpouring of grief that we all needed. It's lovely that you and your hubby have a personal connection!
