Thanks Vix 🙂
Well I might be coming down with a cold now, ds1 has had one, sneezing/runny nose so pretty sure it’s just a cold. Feeling a bit rubbish so am eating fruit and having mega doses of vitamin c tablets just in case, hopefully it won’t become a full blown cold, terrible timing! Also managed to accidentally send a copy of my referral letter not to dh but to the girls group chat 🤦🏼♀️ No message just the letter, which I quickly deleted but they had already seen, what a plonker! I’m just relieved it wasn’t the family chat with the kids in that would have been way worse!Tomorrow I plan to actually look at the finances 🙂MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁5 -

Thanks guys 🙂 Not great news appointment wise, it said to ring today if I hadn’t got a phone call from the clinic, so I rang and was told my name had only just arrived so I should ring next Monday ☹️ I think I’ll try again tomorrow it’s incase, don’t want to be a pain but am literally climbing the walls 🙄
Had a lazy day drinking vitamin juice drinks and eating berries to get rid of this cold, sneezing has stopped already so fingers crossed 🤞 we had a rather unpleasant incident today, our main toilet is a macerator and the pipe came loose at the back of the house 🤢 it reminded me of the film RV with Robin Williams the kids used to love, where he unlocks the pipe and it sprays up everywhere 😱 hosed down by me as everyone else was too wimpy 😂 but dh fixed the pipe.Planning on switching on my brain and checking the accounts now 🙂MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁4 -
I'm sorry you have had a run of bad news and YUCK to the pipe break.
You usually have 9 months and 1 day to pay your corporation tax and you can call HMRC to ask for a "Time To Pay" (it's a payment plan). So if your year end is December 2019, you only have a few days in which to pay or get a TTP in place, but if you have a March 2020 year end then you have until 1 January 2021. These are the two most common year ends which is why I quote them. To be fair on your accountant, everything is delayed right now so if he/she has only just given you the information then it is probably because they are pulling their own hair out trying to meet deadlines while tackling a massive increase in panicked clients, accounting treatment for things we've never encountered before (without guidance!) and the server crashing sixteen times in ten minutes. Due to this, a lot of accounting deadlines have been extended by three months so you should avoid any fines.
(I hate the server)
Hope you get the call tomorrow!6 -
Thanks KP, will forward that on to Dh, I don’t get involved so the business accounts usually. I think he has the money to pay now so mat do that anyway 🙂
I have an appointment for Monday at the clinic first thing, ignoring the ring back Monday instruction was a good thing perhaps, only the weekend to stress out now, 5 1/2 pounds off since Monday and I have actually been eating 😱
Hope everyone is ok, I’m very behind with diaries!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁5 -
