Cashback For An Upgrade

Hi,

Do cashback sites work for mobile phone contract upgrades?

Technically I am signing up for a contract worth £££'s but can't see anywhere whether its just for new customers only?

Has anyone ever received cashback?

Cashback only works for new contracts, not upgrades.

To get round it, you need to get you're pac code, move to another networks payg, start a new customer deal and then port back again. That's the only way to do it...

No, you can move as often as you like.

The Orange rep was saying on here a while ago you could port in in the morning and out again in the afternoon. Which is a bit of a over statement as it would take longer than that for them generator the pac code, but you get the idea.

If I cancel existing deal, then sign up to new phone/contract through cashback - will this be successful?

Pancreas, I'm with onestopphoneshop and they do cashback on upgrades. They don't advertise upgrades on the web, so give whoever you're with a call.
I've upgraded with OSPS twice now. Saves hassle of changing/porting number. Like any upgrade it depends on your usage/spend, but I've always got slightly better deals than advertised to new customers. As always, don't accept the first deal they offer you.
    Hope this helps.
