It's Ryanair. Ryan Air are a different airline in the US.

Ohnoes! How could you possibly tell that the op was talking about Ryanair with that space in the middle!?

If there actually is an airline in the us called ryan air then they hide themselves quite well on the internet.

Surely they have no choice but to give the refund. They haven't provided the service paid for. I know it isn't their fault but they haven't taken the passengers from A to B.

They are all giving refunds or free transfers.

If the decision to cancel or fly, you know ryanair would still be flying

Took us about three months to get a refund after they left us stranded the other new year. I won't fly them again ever - point blank.

That's good to hear, pickle. But shouldn't they just be doing that anyway. It's still not great to be surprised that you're actually getting good customer service. It should come as standard!

When we got stranded we didn't even get an apology - I'm guessing they charge a tenner extra for that!

I find Ryanair to be fair - they pay compensation when they need to, and follow the same rule for everybody.

It took them an amazing 48 hours to get money back into my account, which I found amazing in comparison to other places (3 weeks Argos!)
