I've a friend who's trying to set up broadband for the first time (He's 75!) and the prices, offers and cshback's are confusing the life out of him!
I'd check myself but really need to go out right now and I've asked him to hold off for just an hour before he orders something.
He has a BT line (but willing to change I think) and lives in postcode GL15 5ST
Can anyone give me a quick hand checking out what's available?
Thank you so much in advance

Hi, check his tel: No. and postcode in the following for Plusnet
https://www.plus.net/residential/signup/index.php/standard
if he lives in the low cost area he will only pay £6.49 per month, which is a great deal.

 Keep coming up against that - not available in your area!!!
looks like maybe the post office or plusnet are still cheapest tho?0 -
Plusnet Value still the best deal at £6.49 for 3 months, then £12.99, even with yesterday's price increase. £28 Quidco cashback also available, so don't forget that.
PO Broadband is £15.95-why would you want to go with that?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

PO was coming out tops
Would be low usage so 5gb limit should be ok.0 -
If you are referring to the £8.95 offer, that requires you to take line rental and calls from the PO as well. Their line rental is more than BT (£12).
It's a good bundle price, but PlusNet does not tie you in, and you can leave your line rental with BT.
PlusNet also offer a bundled package if you are thinking of moving the lot.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
