Renewal of BT broadband contract

Options
Hi,

I have option 3 broadband with BT, just got an email offering me a £5.00 per month reduction if I commit to a 12 month renewable contract. This will mean that my monthly charge will reduce to £19.99, I am quite happy with BT as a provider but wondered if I should push them for a further reduction/other sweetener in order to confirm my renewal. Be interested to hear other customers experiences.

Thanks

If you call BT on 0800800030 opt 1 and say your thinking of leaving they will offer you a new deal to stay. What you get offered depends on your exchange so see here wwwsamknows.com click exchange search and put in you telephone number. If your in market 3 you can get bt option 3 broadband for £15.49 on a 12 month contract. It will also show other providers available in your area so you may be better off switching to another isp but depends on what area you live in as market 2 and 1 are limited.
