Blackberry on Orange.

I recently got a pay monthly blackberry on orange with 500mb data allowance but i can't find anywhere to check how much i have used or how much iv got left.

Can anyone help?

The only place you will find it is on your monthly itemised bill.I have had a BB for 14mths and haven't come anywhere near my 500mb, when at home I make sure it is Wi-Fi preferred so cutting down on plan data.

Is my phone not connected to the internet all the time so I can get emails and facebook updates? Or is that just like a text message?

If you're using push email the phone checking every few seconds for new mail. But the data compression is so high you'd need to be sending phonebook sized emails every day to go anywhere near the limit.

i dont have a blackberry so dont know about the data, but i do have an orange contract. i'm signed up online and can login to view my bills etc, they give me a summary of how many minutes and messages i had (im now unlimited msg so only get minutes details now).

perhaps if you create an online account you can log in and view your data allowance. other than that, when i call 150 from my mobile, i can hear my remaining allowance, try this, maybe it'll give you details on there.
