He's a new seller, bought a ton of cheap stuff to boost feedback then started selling his warez.
Likely a past banned user.
Ebay turning a blind eye as usual. Gotta love ebay fattening their wallet by ignoring piracy, some of the games supplied are clearly not freely available.0 -

nothing personal but why I hear this so many times on this forum?
Someone might be happy to make 40p per item and spend the day burning free linux distros on CD and stuffing envelopes. Nothing to do with piracy, just a thought.*_*_* Department of Redundancy Department *_*_*0 -

...and another thought: if you are into piracy you don't buy it off ebay, you just go to sites like piratebay and download it yourself.
at least if you get a virus or a pest is for free...

I don't have a problem with people selling linux but in the case of the seller mentioned on this thread he ain't selling linux, he's selling a cdr/dvdr that contains games that are not freely available.
Plus he's making a lot more that 40p per disc.0 -
yes, pretty clearly the seller is a pirate i.e. copying other people work and selling it at a handsome profit to themselves.
The obvious giveaway (IMHO) is those clauses that pirates always include in their listings:-
"This listing complies with all eBay, VERO and 3rd Party Regulations and Policies associated with Unauthorised Copies of Media and Software that could be bootleg, backup, OEM or any sort of pirated software".
If you see the above, you can guarantee that it is hooky gear!
Get their name and address, pass it onto ELSPA and FACTI am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0 -

I don't want to be misunderstood: my comment was in ref to ebayers selling hundreds of items a week for little profit and NOT necessarily to pump their rating up with the sole purpose of moving over and scam other people.
As I said before, it seemes to me that very often these ebayers who make, say, 40p per item are regarded as future scammers by members of this forum. My opinion is: "Not necessarily". That was the point of my post. Nothing to do with this guy.*_*_* Department of Redundancy Department *_*_*0 -
