It might be worth digging one up to see if there's a bulb at the bottom or not. That might narrow down the field a bit.0

Good thinking! Im gonna do that as theres quite a few of them and Im in the process of sorting out the front garden anyway. Once Ive dug one up I shall report back lol0

Good idea to dig one up,... and I think I might leave the rest until end of April to see what they are but if no flowers by then the grass gets cut! I'll keep you all informed.
Morg monster, its not a new flat as such just last year when I moved in I started cutting the grass straight away so never noticed them. Also had to cut back the bushes dramatically so its the first time I've seen teh lilley-of-the-valley bush in its glory.

UPDATE: I didnt dig one out as Ive not had time to do much in the garden lately, but they have flowered and theyre bluebells! I should have guessed.0

I thought they may have been from the photo. I have lots of bluebells growing in the border by the garage wall. Want to try and move some to under the trees this year though. I think they will look lovely there.0 -

I dug one up and htere is a bulb attached to it... but as yet still no sign of flowers. I'll have to cut my lawn shortly though, its becoming a jungle!0
