I emailed the customer service who said they should have accepted them, and have sent a £5 goodwill voucher. Thanks to the poster above who suggested I did that.

I tried to use a £5 off £50 farmfood voucher at my local Tesco and was refused point blank tried to explain I have used them several times at the larger Tesco 5miles away and was told Tesco have never accepted other stores vouchers and I must have been lucky as it was a mistake they accepted them, If you wouldnt mind please can I have the email address for me to contact them.
    Thanks

Though Tesco did accept Farmfood vouchers for a short time, policy changed - not now on competitors list of acceptable vouchers.
Also just because, one store 5 miles away accepts 'another store voucher' does not mean that another Tesco store will.

The vouchers that Tesco accept are more the vouchers that are given out either in newspapers or those direct from the stores not the ones that just come through everyones door in an area, eg Farmfoods.

I went in Asda today and they where just changing over a sign across the front of the building.

It said we now accept Tescos and sainsburys vouchers and to ask for more details inside.

I did not have the time to check it out. I wonder if they are accepting the total spend ones from sainburys. As I am always getting them but never spending them.

Any how just letting people now so keep an eye out.

    Yours

Are theses the ones you get through the Nectar card? I very rarely shop at Sainsburys but I have filled up at BP a few times (sorry) so am always getting money off vouchers through Nectar!
