A whole napkin, or bits of napkin?
Are you sure it was napkin and not some kind of fruit peel/pith??Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Where I worked, if a customer (OAP or baby usually) had a "toilet accident" we'd put our gloves on and collect the worst of the faeces with napkins, we didn't want the bins stinking so we'd just put them in a glass and put 'em in the dishwasher to get rid of the worst of it, what's probably happened is someone did this and forgot to remove the napkin after he got the glass out, as you can probably appreciate now, its just an innocent mistake anyone could have made.

Well thank you for being sarcastic on a post i wanted help with. My main concern had been if the napkin in question that was left in the bottom of the glass had been used by a previous customer, if any of you are parents then you would understand my concern for my kids0 -
Now you're the one being sarcastic by thanking me for my utterly unhelpful post. You are as bad as I am!jillypants wrote: »Well thank you for being sarcastic

It would be nice if someone came here asking for help actually got some constructive advice.
It never ceases to amaze me how some trolls get their rocks off by sitting at home in front of a keyboard and take the time and trouble to be a pain in the arrse.
What the hell is the matter with you?0 -

change the flippin record mate, your always banging on about "cyber saints" and people hiding behind their keyboards etc, not our fault we're not all as gullible as SOME. Sorry, where was your advice to the OP there? or did you just come on to shine your halo :rotfl:0 -

Highly unlikely as the glass would have been through the dishwasher and the napkin would have fallen out when it got wet. Or are we now moving on to 'perhaps the glass wasn't even washed' territory?
Most likely scenario is glasses have been stacked with (clean) napkins between them and one has been left in the glass, although quite how the person making the drink wouldn't have noticed is beyond me.
Oh, and I am a parent, but still don't understand your obsession with the fact that the napkin may have been used. Children put far worse things in their mouths of their own accord. They have not become ill, move on.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
OP, I would phone them and ask for their customer services e-mail address (they dont seem to advertise it) then put your concerns in writing to them. Phone number is 0845 612 5003:smileyhea0

Hi Jilly
To me what it sounds like has happened is that when tables have been cleared, the napkin has been stuffed into the glass to "help" with the collecting. The glass has then (hopefully!) gone into a dishwasher, and part of the napkin has come adrift, and drifted into other glasses and stuck, and the majority of it has stayed in your son's first glass.
I would complain to head office if I were you - see http://www.frankieandbennys.com/contact for some contact details.0
