    Have you looked at CSJ?

Not tried them personally (The dog not me!) yet but they do get lots of good recommendations, I'm thinking of changing to them from Burns in the future. They do lots of different types.

I've just been on the old trusty ebay to reorder my Burns dog food which is £38.99 a bag and i discovered this stuff

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380108750398&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:GB:1123

So thats £36.15 for 30kg  inc delivery and the ingredient list reads very familiar. I do notice that it doesn't list percentage of rice and chicken and whats chicken meal?

Anybody tried this stuff before i order, they have good feedback and sold a lot. :) Just trying to cut costs if poss. x

FWIW I think it is worth a try.

If you google them, they seem to have been in business for centuries. It may well be the better stuff is really good? Can anyone compare the contents shown with JW or Burns just in case they are the same?

Doh didn't think of googling them so thanks for that , it does say on the bumpf about the food that they supply a few big names in pet food but they will not divulge??

Anyway i have decided to buy some i bought the hypo chicken with rice same as she eats with the burns but i got the premium plus with extra oils in and herbs just to see if i see a difference in her coat because even on burns her skin is dry and flakes in her coat, I have to supplement her diet.

So i saved a tenner lets hope its not a false economy but would have saved a lot more if i'd bought 30kg but just got 15kg to try it.

There are a lot of repeat buyers in feedback and some have sensitive dogs who say its good...but i know each dog is different. :)

I will let you know how it goes.
  • I wonder if you eailed them and asked what dog food it is 'equivalent' to whether you would be any the wiser?? After all you are not asking them to name names, just to tell you what it is similar to....

If this company is run by the people I think it is, then it was started up by a veterinary practice back in the 80s. The food manufactured is the supplied to some major brands on the market.

I must be doing something wrong, because I can't find anything when I google them.
