I've just been on the old trusty ebay to reorder my Burns dog food which is £38.99 a bag and i discovered this stuff
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380108750398&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:GB:1123
So thats £36.15 for 30kg  inc delivery and the ingredient list reads very familiar. I do notice that it doesn't list percentage of rice and chicken and whats chicken meal?
Anybody tried this stuff before i order, they have good feedback and sold a lot.
Just trying to cut costs if poss. x

Burns is v good - although I have only tried cats (as I don't have any dogs). Only reason I am not feeding this 100% is to give my two variety & because the Tom had a urinary problem recently & as such I have introduced wet (Bozita) & raw (organs from the butchers).
I my changing feeding to Burns from `ordinary' wet cat food & Go-cat dried has v likely extended their lives & improved their quality of life - seriously I can't praise it enough & that it works out cheaper as well ......0 -
i think chicken meal is just the ground up version with most of the water content removed, so is actually better than when simply chicken is on the ingredients as that will still be mostly water and once converted to dry weight would be much further down the list. Its hard to tell without the % of the chicken, rice etc. Is 24% protein suitable for your dogs activity, as burns chicken & brown rice is only 18.5%?
I prefer to be able to see the feeding guide to work out how much it costs per meal as some foods you end up feeding more of it and its not such a bargain as it first looked. I don't use that food though so i can't comment on it, we feed skinners field & trial hypoallergenic and get it from vetuk.0 -

Skinners is an excellent food ,many breeders rate it high and above Burns because of numerous reasons .
They do a hypo food will gladly send you a sample if you email them0 -
Forgot to add that the ' Skinners Field and trial 'in duck/rice and salmon/rice are both hypoallergenic and VAT free ,we pay around £14 for a 15kg sack0

Well, they have all different sorts there but I was surprised they seem to offer the extremes of dog food0
