Hi.

My t mobile G1 got wet and now doesnt work at all (I put it on the side in the bathroom and it must have been splashed - it def doesnt work and the "waterdamage" indicators are red so its died).

Im in contract with t-mobile until 5th July. paying £30 a month and this covers all my texts, calls and internet I've never had a bill come in extra. Im not sure what I need - I text a lot more than talking and want to be able to stil lhave emails come through and browse occassionally. minutes wise I dont use more than 100 a month I reckon. I was hoping to bring the cost down and now not sure I will be able to as I'll need a new phone.

at the moment my sim is in an old phone but I really miss my g1 and having emails just appear on the phone without logging in. I liked having google talk, the ease of using the internet, speed of emailing and also that it was touch screen but also had a slide out keyboard. i liked the android apps too but didnt use alot of them

Im not sure what to do at the moment. I could keep using the phone I have for a few months (boo) or get a new contract and phone with another company - but still have to pay t-mobile too, or try t-mobile see if they'll send something out? or try and see if some company would buy me out of contract.

I also really wanted to buy a wii..... but decided its probably not best to try and find it as a "free gift" and end up with a phone I dont want. but it would be good!

So, what would you think I should do?

And also which phone should I go for??
