I rang them again and read out the URL for the original offer page (took about half an hour but they got it first time!). They then applied a £15 gift certifiacte to my account to make up the discount. Thanks to the OP(s).

Wahey - the keyboard and mouse arrived this morning, less than 48 hours after ordering, not bad for the free delivery option!

All working well, it's a decent bit of kit and I'm very happy. Using it to type etc. as we speak...

Didn't work for me so I placed the order anyway then gave them a call on the 0800 number. I got a result - they will give me an automatic discount of £14.34 (the cost of the speakers) on my next order, which isn't a problem as I use Amazon frequently.

speakers delivered today - advice please - want to use them for laptop which only has USB ports - how do I adapt them.

They have the audio cables which plug into a tv/computer/stereo
( yellow, red, white plugs ) what do I need to plug them into usb port. or it not advisable to plug into a usb port using an adapter.

    Hope this makes sense.

instructions say - connect output from a stereo source to the 2 Audio IN sockets at rear of sub woofer. A 3.5mm mini jack to 3 x RCA cable has been provided as most personal MP3s/cd players have an audio 3.5mm mini jack output socket,

Can I get a usb/audio adapter ? and if so any ideas where from. Or is this not possible.

    Thanks
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T

    weaver,

That's some odd laptop you've got if it doesn't have audio output (via a little 3.5mm socket).

  • I thought RPoints have stopped giving cashback for Amazon?
They do, but just for first-time orderers who get 500 points.
    That offer is here.
