I've used several Microsoft ones, and don't have to change the batteries very often, maybe every few months, 4/5 ? Didn't really keep count, as I was just happy it kept going...

Oh, and heres hoping it does actually get delivered in '1-2 weeks', I cancelled my last order that took that meant to take that long after it still hadn't arrived after a month!

I may be mistaken - but I never remember Goodmans being a good brand - maybe not as bad as they are now - but not good!

yeah i wouldnt say goodmans has ever been comparable to say toshiba, panasonic and sony - but after owning several goodman electric devices (mainly tv and cd player) i really think they are pretty good. especially my old 28" widescreen tv. fantastic quality.
