Pipjes - you are ordering from an Amazon Maketplace seller the offer is only valid if you order from Amazon directly. If you look to the right on the Keyboard page you can still select buy from Amazon it is £15 and currently says usually dipatched within 1-2 weeks. It should still wrok. Good luck.
thanks for that, found it, placed order but on email its charging me for speakers, what shall i do??
  • not working for me either, coming up to over £29, might try and delete my cookies and see if it works

I find yours and manhattan's view that everything that is Chinese made is cheap crap pretty offensive to be honest. Mission and Wharfedale make the best hifi budget speakers in the business. Do you guys think of Mission as crappy little computer speakers? Have you ever heard their real speakers? Just because they're made in china it doesn't mean that they are rubbish. Far from it. They are designed and researched in the UK. Both companies are based in the UK and as a result you get cutting edge speaker technology for a fraction of the price that it used to cost. There are loads of other manufacturers who have their products made in China. Some very high end ones to. Quad for instance. And KEF. And Wharfedale never really made good dvd players to start with so you can't use that as an argument. Most of you on this forum won't ever have heard these manufacturers dedicated separates speakers and maybe you assume that because they are from China then they can't be good. There are thousands of cases of where well known companies now base their factories in China. Many of Golfs biggest names do that. What do we get for it? Amazing quality for a very cheap price. Compare the quality of our electrical goods to that of 10 years ago.

If it wasn't for these emerging economies we would still be paying more than twice the price for our electrical goods. And I can tell you now for a fact, buy a pair of Wharfedale 9.1's or Mission 32i's or Quad 12L's and you will not be complaining about the build quality. They are fantastically made speakers that will still last 20 years the way they did when they were made in the UK.

Until you've experienced some of the high end goods that do come out of China don't go writing off everything that they make based on some £15 plastic speakers.

hey,i didnt say EVERYTHING chinese was crap.

i have worked in the industry, and i consider myself pretty clued up on audio/av, so i kind of know what i am on about.
ive owned both cheap and also expensive hi-fi by the likes of meridian, mission, quad etc in the past.

what i was saying,is that some well respected quality audio/av manufacturers have been know to put there badge on budget tvs and dvds, not actually made by themselves.
