OMG i think i might be on my way....contractions are not nessecarily regular but the pain that comes with them is enough to make me wanna cry....i can now remember what the first day before periods feels like.
Does anyone know if it's ok to put the tens on or do i have to know it's the real deal first?Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -

I used my tens as soon as I felt I needed it - I'm quite sure it can do no harm, so get it on and turned up! xDS 17 years

Thank you....please keep the labour vibes coming. I'm getting scared now, lol - knew i would. Ok i'm having contractions but they themselves dont hurt, but the pain imbetween them is really nasty - like a horrible dull ache that you get before a period. Nothing hurts as such if that makes sense.
I really wanna put the tens on. Have called hubby and he said call the hosp see what they say (i'm supposed to go in from the very start due to being VBAC) and he'll come home from work if they want me in. I feel like an idiot that i don't know if it's real or not.
DD is iritating me like crazy at the mo though - i feel like i just wanna go and hide in a quiet dark room with a hot water bottle.
Argggghhhhh i hate this
I'm doing a contraction timer tool at the mo though - will post it in a bit.Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
MGEB Labour vibes for you chick goodluck :-)
As for the tens machine they do recommend you put them on as soon as things start as they have a build up effect and they may not be affective later on if you dont put them on soon enough.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Ok i cant post the actual page - it comes up a bit mangled but i'm looking at contractions coming every 2mins but only lasting 30secs a time. That' s since my first post about it so about 30 mins ago.
I have just shouted really bad at DD and i feel really bad - i was in pain and she was constantly badgering me for a blimmin cup of tea. I shouted and told her to stop nagging and go to her room - she went off in tearsI feel really really bad but i can't face her much at the mo.
Hubby is now on his way home, or rather his next train is just after half past...he'll be home in about an hour-ish.
Does anyone know what i should do???? I know that sounds really stupid as usually i'm pretty clued up and ready to give advice - just right now my head is a mess in panic. I have the bath running. Should a be on the ball to keep things moving?Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
MGEB I'm sure your DD will understand when you explain it later
Not sure what you should do tbh, from what others have said sounds like having a warm bath will stop things???
Maybe give bouncing on the ball a go until your DH gets home:) If nothing else it might give your DD a giggle if you fall off it:p:rotfl:

Ok - just phoned Avent, they want £9 + £3p&p for the cushion alone.....what a rip off!!! I think i'll be best going back to ebay - i think i'll find a cheaper whole new breastpump for less than that.
Stay calm and remember to breathe0
