My cat's died

Sorry to hear about your cat.
We lost our 10 yr old cat last autumn. He had a tumour and just suddenly went downhill and his kidneys failed. I slept downstairs to stay with him so that he wasn't alone and then took him to the vet in the morning. Even though we knew it was coming, it broke my and DH's hearts. He was our first baby.
We buried him in the garden and the vet suggested putting a couple of paving slabs over the top to make it harder to for foxes etc to dig the body up.
We have another cat now, just a year old. This summer, she has quite often been to sit on the slabs and it is quite nice to see her sitting over where her predecessor is buried."Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."0 -
((((hugs)))) So sorry to hear about your kitten, mine died last year and I still miss her very much. Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.
