Trying to reinstall windows - BSOD after files have copied

Hi guys
well, I had no shortage of problems. And I had to try and reinstall windows XP, I have formatted the drive and reinstalled windows. However I get a BSOD after the files have copied and it simply hangs there, it says
"Stop 0x0000007B (0xF79F6524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000"
It says "Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption. and then restart your computer"
I have had the drive hooked up as a slave to a vista machine to try and run diagnostics in order to avoid reinstalling, however I wasn't able to resolve the original problem anyway.
Really, Really getting desperate now. I AM OFFERING A £10 PAYMENT TO ANYONE WHO CAN PROVIDE THE ADVICE THAT LEADS ME TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS DRIVE AGAIN WITH XP ON IT. AND THUS RESOLVES THIS PROBLEM.
I have tried scanning the drive with AntiVira when it was hooked up as a slave to my vista laptop.
I have also ran chkdsk on it when it was hooked up as a slave drive, both found nothing.
REALLY HOPING SOMEBODY CAN HELP RESOLVE THIS, AND AS I SAY, THERE IS A REWARD OF £10 TO ANYONE WHO CAN.

This can happen if the hard disk is have been set to AHCI mode in the BIOS. Windows XP does not support AHCI mode for hard disks.
The fix will depend on what mainboard you have but will be something like this- Switch on the PC and press the F2 key when prompted to enter the BIOS menu.
- Enter the BIOS password if prompted.
- In the Main menu, select IDE Configuration and press the Enter key.
- In the ATA menu change the IDE Configuration setting to from Enhanced to Compatible. Check that AHCI mode is no longer set.
- Press F10 and save and exit the BIOS menu.

The first part of the code seems to mean "Inaccessible boot drive". Is it an SATA drive?
In the past I've had to use SATA drivers loaded from a floppy for some versions of XP in some PC's (i.e. when it starts to install you have to hit a key and insert the floppy containing the driver).
What type of computer is it?0 -

Could you maybe explain this in a bit more detail please?Live for what tomorrow has to bring, not what yesterday has taken away0 -
you have to hit a key and insert the floppy containing the driver).
That key is F6 by the way, and everyone seams to be on the right track, being that 0x7B means "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE",
Personally
run the Diagnostic CD here
*If it is SATA then I would find the SATA drivers and save them to Floppy,
then boot into **recovery console and run
FIXMBR
FIXBOOT
then reboot(Type exit) and *when prompted Press F6 to install SATA drivers,
then when promoted i would DELETE the all partitions and then create a new Partition and fully format it then install as normal!
**Boot from windows CD and press R when prompted to run Repair, this loads a command prompt
EDIT:
Quick question.. is this a new Hard Drive or one that came with the PC.. also do you get the option of pressing F10 or F11 to run recovery (or something) as i remember those PC had a extra partition with a mini backup of the pre install OS and App'sPress any other key to continue.0 -
