Somebody else must have had this happen to them - or am I the only one?
Sky started taking other people's (about 25 in total! ) sky subscriptions from my bank account. Fortunately I keep an eye on my account online and my bank has refunded immediately under the d.d. indemnity but Sky will not tell me why it happened. They have given me a clue I think by saying they had found accounts "connected to my bank details" and had "terminated" them.
I need to know if someone has got hold of my bank account number and been mis-using it but Sky won't give me a proper answer. Do they have 2 "help" centres because some of their replies have been reasonably sensible, others completely nonsensical (as if they haven't read the previous messages).

I still can't get a proper answer from Sky how this happened. They just keep stalling with vague answers. I have to suspect they are trying to hide something!0

I expect they've made a huge malechicken-up, and don't want to take the blame. Even so, I would be watching my account like a hawk, just in case.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
I am not sure if some of staff at their "help" line really are stupid or if it suits them to pretend to be stupid!0
