changing computer

I have been given a computer .I am getting rid off my old one .Not much on the old computer what i really need except for all my favorites is the any way i transfer these on to my new computer easily Thank You Pearl

That's OK
Look at the instructions in fermi's link above.
It explains how to 'export' the favorites.
Then you can copy the file bookmark.htm to a cd or just email it to yourself.
Then 'import' them to your new computer following the instructions again.
