I have been given a computer .I am getting rid off my old one .Not much on the old computer what i really need except for all my favorites is the any way i transfer these on to my new computer easily Thank You Pearl

That depends on what Operating System you have on each.0

If you are able to connect the two together - possibly via a network cable - then the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard (Accessories, System, I think) should do what you want, and will give some examples of how to make the connection between the two PCs.0

same Q for me.. cd writer is knackered on old one, so may have to do memory stick swap-eroony..
or can both pc's be linked up, with USB / other cable..?Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

afaik, favourites are just small text files- could easily email them to yourself (copy and paste the URL's..)
dont forget to backup email addresses and messages- that's my main concern..Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
