Dear LW,
I was attempting to lighten the tone of the thread and your have completely ignored my apology.
As for this being a "male dominated thread" then I think your mistaken, if it was an invisible sign then how would you see it ?
Take a step back and you will actually see that the majority of this thread revolved around trying to stop you getting into debt - if that had been the case.
Still now you have confirmed that this wasn't the case and that you use your card as an interest free loan. Just keep to those mimium payment dates or you might loose it. Good luck
As for Sarita/littlewren being the same person the I doubt it - what would be the point of making it a threesome.
Oh dear, have I said something inflamatory again .......

Was a good thread with a cracking middle bit of jovaility.
I did a balance transfer of £3500 to Virgin for 16 months 0%. First 8 months just let it go down £25 a time and paid a token £25 extra on top, thought about transferring to another card when the 0% run out, but thought no sod it, time to sort out my debt and started paying off £400 as a minimum amount.
Now down to the last few months, should be clear by July.
Far too easy to let credit cards get out of hand, so tempting to spend money you haven't got I found.
Only cards I will be applying for in the future are 0% on purchases cards in the if I want to buy something for a large amount and want the protection a credit card can give.
My Tesco's card has been great for that, 12 months interest free and earn clubcard points as well.0 -

What an excellent post, debt is very easy to get into and very difficult to get out off.
That was the point I was trying to make before things got exciting .
Temptation is very difficult to avoid sometimes and £25 here or there soon adds up. Well done on paying it down.0 -

Your signature is basically going to be me in the next 6 months.
Last year had minus £7 in the bank and owed about £15,000 on cards and loans, decided to sort myself out and through saving the whole of last year and transferring the credit card debt, to the Virgin Card, I'm down to about £9000 in debt, upped my payments to £1400 a month over the next 3 months, going to live like a monk (although I still have enough savings from last year) and just be left with the £4800 I owe on one loan, which is fixed and I'm stuck with for the next 2 years.0
