Sarahsaver wrote:If she wants to be anonnymous she should not use her real name as her email address on her profile on this site. I have not done anything contrary to my role as a BG. Some people find her inspiring, some annoying. I will delete my post with her name in it which is on her profile anyway lol;)
I have an easy way for her to be mortgage free in a month. DOn't take on the mortgage.
Her name may be in the email address, which surprises me that someone in the IT industry would use a work email address, potential identity fraud and even harrassment issues there, but that is her choice, but I don't think it was fair on her to give her work history when she said she wanted to be anonymous.
A lot of people, myself included, may not even have thought, or forgotten, that others on this site can find out peoples email addresses so easily. Maybe a lesson for everyone. I'd also say putting ones date of birth online to publicly is also a bad idea.0 -
the whole thing is probably a publicity stunt anyway - like the ebay wedding.
unless you are a multi-millionaire you can't pay off 130k mortgage in a month. end of story.
and if you are a multi-millionaire, what's the big deal?0 -

I read this thread with interest as I desparately want to pay off my mortgage and have nothing but admiration for anyone able to achieve this. I'm not sure that I would have done this in pursuit of my dream though...

I thought pre-nups weren't worth the paper they are written on?
Lotta"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, how big my house was, or what kind of car I drove. But the world may be a little better, because I was important in the life of a child."0 -

Best of British with your plan. I thought I was ambitious following the "Pay off your mortgage in 2 years" plan, but yours is amazing. I also have my own business (now in its 6th week) and it really brings home the old adage that "you'll never get rich working for someone else". All those years of slaving for other companies, sometimes working 10 - 14 hour days, only seeing the wife and kids at the weekend. I'm still doing all that but this time I'm reaping the rewards. Only 22 months and 2 weeks to go!!0
