Find Vodafone PAYG Balance by Texting

Hi all
I want to be able to send a text and get a reply with my current balance from Vodafone.
I dont want to have to phone to get a text.
Anyone got any ideas?
I tried to text balance to 2345 but just seemed to get registered for "Bonus Bank"

I am using a vodafone PAYG sim in a 3G dongle and dont want to have to take the sim out and put it into a phone to find out my balance.
The dongle is a generic HUAWEI and isnt tied to a network so there isnt anything included for showing your balance, I was hoping to be able to send a text as thats the only additional function it offers.
