I still think you would be hard pushed to beat the combination of
BT Option 1 (£10.50 rip off per month that you cannot get out of)
E7even 512kbps unlimited broadband £15 per month
One.Tel (they even credit you £20) for free unmetered weekend calls (or Talk Talk as recommended by some)
18866/1899 for most other calls.

Even if you made thousands of phone calls on weekdays you would still be better off !
