Ebuyer Nightmare

Wahey, they've tested the returned faulty RMA and deemed it to be faulty. They've also finally agreed a refund on the item...great! It's only taken 2 months!!!
The only thing is that they've forgotten (yet again) to refund my return postage. I now have to submit another e-note requesting a postage refund. Their e-notes are currently being replied to in 7 days.
They are obliged to refund postal costs for returned faulty items but i'm starting to wonder if they just don't issue postal refunds by default unless you request it, which I did in the RMA request and with a large note in the returned box. It seems they ignore it all and you have to reuest it separately.0 -
I ordered some stuff (Wednesday, went for the cheap delivery option) - they brought it forward and it all came today (Friday).
I even added something to the parcel on Thursday and it all arrived and all worked - on top of that v. cheap prices.
I know there can be problems but in fairness these problems happen with your high street boys just as often - at least you get cheap prices?0 -
[Their service is currently so dire that they should be doing what Screwfix
Are they in breach of some sort of statutory rights like the Distance Selling Act?
God help me, I will NEVER do business with this company again.[/QUOTE]

I must be dreaming.
I sent an enote to ebuyer with a complaint on Tuesday and they replied within an hour, then today I send another enote (still complaining) and they reply within 7 minutes !!!!!!!!!!!! Is this a record ?
Doesn't alter the fact, however, that they still haven't delivered the hard Drive I ordered last Thursday on Priority Express next day delivery........0 -
If you try to request a refund for faulty goods through their enote system then it doesnt let you if the goods are more than 30 days old. Surely this must be breaking the sale of goods act, to automatically refuse a refund on faulty goods.
I am in this position now, had to send a enote requesting a refund rather than a replacement, waiting to hear the outcome.0 -
Well, they are still refusing to give a full refund, so Trading standards have been informed and letter of complaint to Head office is going in the post.0

When ebuyer failed to respond to an enote within 3 days, they gave me a phone number for customer services... which I thought I'd share with you
0845 114 5000
The friendly young lady resolved the problem there and then over the phone.0 -
I have just had another awful customer service experience with ebuyer - yes you can now call them on an 0870 number  , but I was kept on hold for ages and then spoken to by a representative who sounded like she was reading her response from a book with a cheeky attitude thrown in too! Beware, beware ,beware - i wish i had listened and will NEVER use them again0

Until people start to vote with there wallet unfortunately Ebuyer will still be around, it never ceases to amaze me, how people don't think it wont happen to them.
No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you0
