  • Have today received this email. A reply to one I sent asking why my orders were on hold.

    From: "boots.com - Customer Service" <customerservice@care.boots.com>

Thank you for contacting us about the recent orders that you have placed with us.

I have investigated this matter for you and would advise that on certain occasions, we do our
own internal order checking for validity. We can#t divulge when these certain occasions are
triggered, or the process we follow to validate these orders as they are commercially
    sensitive.

Unfortunately, when we checked your recent order against the personal details you provided we
was not able to dispatch this to you. This order was therefore cancelled.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused.

    Kind regards,
    Victoria Bolger

Then how is it that 2 of my orders were dispatched and what on earth does comercially sensitive mean? How do they validate an order, surely if I buy something that they are selling that is validation enough. Me thinks they is using mumbo jumbo as a way of covering up their !!!!-up....... Anyone else had the same response??????

Maybe they realised you were being greedy , they have let you have 2 orders delivered, i would quit while you are ahead.

  • Reply to Deanos - I'm not greedy, just a bit peeved that I now have to trek into town to buy what I wanted instead of getting it delivered and the fact that if I hadn't chased up Boots in the first placed I would never have known that the orders i've been waiting for have been cancelled.

i've missed this, just found this thread looking for boots codes. but as it's double points and they have 500 points on a £50 spend (and free delivery over £40 spend) you'd still get at least 900 points and free delivery on a £50 order. probably worth it if you use disposable nappies.
