I have just made a £97.98 shop at Waitrose *crosses finger* Order is open at the moment. If it goes through I will celebrate though my Budget is still horribly constrained this next two weeks till 25th and I need to save as much as possible so I maximise funds in account in order to rebuild my account.
I have no butter which I depend upon to concoct wonders in the kitchen. I have only one tin of tinned tomatoes left. I am contemplating breaking my £365 fund a bigger jar, in order to access £12-14 if all else fails.
Thankfully earlier today my organic box was delivered but even so I have had troubles with payment on occasion.
I religiously pay my bills and hate too this level of discomfort and want to run for cover.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Praise the Lord! It appears that Waitrose is picking my delivery so yours truly will have the joy of having to get up well before 10am in order to receive the Delivery!!!! This means I got more to play with, where I still have to work things out in terms of using what I have in the Freezer, Cupboard etc but thankfully with less pressure!
I will report back with List once this Shop is delivered to my doorstep. *Relief*#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

@rowsew Without this shop I would not be able to cope. I am the most hopeless at frugality and making do.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

*Flees to bed* I have been in bed all day what I call a 'bed depression' trying to concoct what to make with my paltry limited resources that tastes any good and that has integrity.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

This may be a silly question, but can you freeze pasta once its been cooked?0

3 days so far out of Cupboards and Freezer. I am just relieved I have a big Waitrose Delivery arriving tommrow so I can get back to some kind of viably me friendly frugality ie with butter, stock cubes etc that can comfortably make so many dishes. Still gotta keep spends low and MSE Learning high.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

I must post up Stocks List as promised so I can be helped. I am so relieved that my Waitrose Biggie was delivered this morning. At least then I can proceed in a more civilised way.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Yes you can freeze pasta. I tend to freeze it mixed with a sauce of some description. If you're reheating in the microwave add a bit of water or make sure the pasta is mixed with the sauce as it can go a bit rubbery.
If its a pasta bake I try and make a sloppy sauce and it will thicken up once it's reheated.
And there is no such thing as a silly question it's just stuff you don't know yet.0 -
Creamy pasta dishes I think are best reheated on the stove as you have more control. If I was willing to wait in theory one could use one's slow cooker on high......to save electricity?#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.
