I want to use my BT Home Hub for my Laptop downstairs and put my desktop upstairs. I live in a town house that has 3 floors and it's the third floor i want the desktop computer. I want to use my laptop downstairs as the kids will be using that one, but i'm not sure if the wireless radio waves will reach to the desktop upstairs.
What i want to know is, if the Wireless does not reach the computer on the third floor, can i use my old modem that i was originally using from BT? So i would be using the Wireless Hub for downstairs and the Wired modem upstairs.
