That my kitty has renal problems? I've paid the vets fees and for his new food myself as my excess is a gizilion pounds but wondered if i have to let them know.
Thanks for your responses. Have had policy for a while but quite a large excess and then pay 25% of the cost on top because of his age.
I did read smallprint (i always do on everything) but it doesn't mention reporting anything - just how to make a claim etc etc. the only thing it does say is that i have 12 months to make a claim so we'll see how it all goes.
Hopefully all bills associated with this condition can be grouped together as one claim, chances are you will eventually be over the excess so it's well worth reading getting in contact. Keep copies of everything, even stuff you buy online just in case. There are a number of people posting on Purrsinourhearts website with cats with renal problems, many are with AXA but I bet a couple are with PetPlan and could advise. There are usually a few moneysaving tips floating about too, tho not as accomplished as this lot!

Why don't you ring your insurance do 141 first don't give them your name and ask them theoretically in case it's not obligatory?
Because if you ring up and give them your policy they are bound to add it on your file either way?!
Might be worth a go!
