Simple Question

All of those that complain of rubbish interest rates - why don't you keep track of the rates?

If you are able to post here you are obviously web savvy so why don't you just go to your providers site and check the rate?

cheers

Most of us do keep track of the rates, but even the best rates are rubbish compared to what they have been.

hmm maybe because not everybody is completely money obsessed and wakes up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat wondering if they have got a 1/4 of a percent less than 12 months ago

You're missing the point; it's not the people who are missing 1/4% who are complaining, it's those who have lost much more because they haven't kept tabs on the interest rate over the last year or two.

Here's just one example currently on this board.

True enough about the rates, but I'm getting well in excess of 4% on £80K

Things can only get worse/better - you decide

I hope your 80K isn't invested with a single bank or financial instituation, considering gov't banking financial compensation scheme.
