    I would send them a cheque for 21p. Then they have to keep writing to you every month to tell you you are 1p in credit. Just so that you can have the last laugh at them!

    Hi, Similar to me - only it was Waitrose - rang to see final balance - and duly paid full amount, received statement a couple of weeks later and there was a balance of 64p - have left it four months, as was acrueing no interest and no demand to pay, and just had a statement through tonight and they have credited the 64p!!

    PS - Really like Black Saturns idea - must do this in future to get my own back!!!!!!

    i use to have a Burtons store card (discount on a original purchase- never failed to pay off in full) which i would only ever use for 3 new pairs of socks before i went away somewhere. when the bill came i cleared the balance execpt for -49p they wrote it off at least 8 times . when they didn,t i cut it up paid it off and cancelled it lol.
    Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:
