Switching from LPG to Oil

I'm getting fed up of the ever-increasing price of LPG and with my combi boiler needing replacement in the next 12 months, I'm seriously considering switching to oil. I believe the main benefit to be freedom to purchase from any supplier without restriction. Can anyone please provide any other issuesand advice I should consider prior to making the change?

With the cost of removing the lpg tank and lpg boiler, and all the set up costs involved with the new oil boiler, oil tank etc... you could also consider an air source heat pump, reduce your bills and (hopefully from next April) get paid for heating the house as well (D.E.C.C. - Renewable Heat Incentive - RHI). Research Mitsubishi Ecodan, Daikin Altherma (on the MCS list for £900 low carbon building grant) and the Sanyo ECO CO2.There are three types of people in this world...those that can count ...and those that can't!
