Best contract but do not need phone!
Hi all, I am looking for a monthly contract as my PAYG is not good value for money.I am currently with Orange and would want to port my number. Looking for approx 300 minutes cross network and 100 texts and a 12 month contract. I do not need a phone as I have a good one that is unlocked but it seems I have to have a new phone from any of the networks. Talk about trying to be kind to the enviroment and then have an unwanted phone forced on me.
Anyone have any ideas about the best way to go or not as the case maybe!
Thanks Lee

get the phone and sell it to offset your monthly charge?
otherwise, o2 for sure offer no phone sim only deals. check their websiteThe word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.
You ask for ADVICE not ADVISE.0 -
You did not look hard enough.:D

Considering they are not supplying a phone the sim only deals are pretty poor and still stuggle to compete with the sim and phone deals. Like the idea of selling the phone tho. I have never been so confused buying something, it must be time for the mobile phone companys to be made to do much clearer offers as you struggle to work out te best deal.0

Hi, after much searching I have got the following deal from onestopphoneshop.
I called them on a freephone number and the deal they offered I could not find on the web. Also they offered me a second phone at £25 with a call pack per month and the whole year could be claimed back therefore you paid nothing!
Motorola V6 (which I am going to sell on ebay)
12 month contract
ported my old number
O2
250 any network
100 texts
£30 per month
But get this, claim 11 months back therefore you pay only £30 for the year. You need to put a claim in every quarter.
Make sure you cancel the insurance and the helpline as well as soon as you get the phone otherwise you will be stung for extra charges.0
