I got sorted my quote from the company I'm with sent there price for this years cover £325.71. shopped around and got like for like £197 odd.

Sorry but your wrong the only difference is the price everything else is exactly the same. So stop being pedantic:p

Have a look on the Travel thread on MSE to see the difference in Insurance Policies eg a few companies are paying travel claims out for the volcano ash and the majority (At the moment) are refusing them. No doubt they had the same opinion of Insurance.

Quote is most policies are different and the service you receive is certainly different from company to company

Gocompare allows you to choose from 'Business use by proposer', 'Business use by proposer and spouse', 'Business use by spouse' and 'Business use by all drivers', so I don't understand how you had so much difficulty. Incidently, my cover includes business use and I got that quote from gocompare a few months ago.
