I am of to France next week and will need to make calls while im there and would like some advice on if i need to do anything to get it set up to use in France.

I am with Orange and am on a 30 day sim only contact so will it be allready set up to use outside the uk or do i need to do anything?

Also what will be the call costs and text costs while in France?

Many thanks

Call Orange, you may or may not have international roaming set up. If it's not then it won't work when you get there. It may or may not be set and the easiest thing is to call them.

They'll also be able to tell you the call rates.

You may also need to edit numbers drop any leading zer's and replace them with +44

    So 01234 567890 needs to become +44 1234 567890

+44 works in the UK and you don;t get charged any more for using the code it so I have all my numbers set up that way.
