Brilliant advice! at last I am sorted :j

Local broker found policy tailored to my needs at good price PLUS they do all the work for you. And if you have any problems you go through them :D

When someone says a local broker they mean someone typically on the high street with a shop. Have a look in your yellow pages etc under Insurance Agents or Insurance Brokers. Or you could use this tool http://www.biba.org.uk/ConsumerHome.aspx

    Thats great news Ellie.

I'm sure MSE members and any future members who read this who are in a similar situation would be interested in how much you ended up paying them and how much it saved you.

Another good tip for the future is...

When they send the renewal notice through next year (The one from the actual Insurer). Have a look to see how many years no claims bonus it declares you have. As the broker will have often negotiated a few years no claims bonus for you and the renewal notice often states you have 2, 3 or even 4 years no claims bonus. If it does state this with no disclaimers and you want to be mercenary you can them use this with other Insurers. (It's best to declare to any new Insurers what was done so they are aware)

    Glad you're sorted.
Brokers are excellent for anything slightly out of the usual. I've always had good service whenever I've used them.
