Sky Subscription Trimming

I was thinking how expensive Sky is over the weekend, and how each year they manage to add another £1 to cost each September.
After a bit of digging around the Sky site, I realised that you can trim down on the entertainment and variety packs, saving £1 per pack. I used to have all of them but with no kids, didn't watch the Children's Pack, only really watch BBC News so trimmed out News & Events, and had no interest in the Style & Culture pack.
So a call to Sky, and a £3 a month saving (£36 a year).
No great shakes, but worth doing rather than filling the pockets of Sky when not using all your paying for.
