grr! Bonfires should be banned in good drying weather! I've just had to bring the bedlinen in because some !!!!!! has lit one, and it already smells a bit. Hopefully the smell will go, but my second load has had to go in the TD because of it!
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    Awww, thanks! *blushes*.

To be honest, I'm having a bit of a hard time keeping up with my tasks, and if I try and do the Daily thread as well as this one, I won't get my Flying done; I will try and pop in there once I get properly organised (for that read when I start feeling a bit better healthwise and can do more than 5 mins work at a time without having to stop to rest! *rolleyes*) Please give my love to the regulars on the Daily; I haven't forgotten them, just a mite bogged down at the mo.:o

Just waiting for [STRIKE]The Gannet[/STRIKE] Mr LW to get in from work now, hopefully I have the timing right for us to declutter the pizza I have in the oven as soon as he's in.:D

    Evening,

Well my list doesn't seem to be going down this week, but I am still trying to sort the garden so I have been doing that instead. I want to be outside in this nice weather. That and the fact that DD2 is still off playgroup and she gets so bored and needs entertaining. So went out to the local lakes and playpark today.

I have won a bed that I wanted to get for DD2 from I**A on ebay so happy I don't have to pay full price on that. Picking it up on Saturday morning.

I really hope that this volcano stops spitting out ash by next Saturday as I am off to Germany. Feel sorry for the people who had their flights cancelled today, lets hope it calms down and everything gets back to normal.

Forgot to mention earlier, had a lovely postcard from Frodders in Belfast arrive in the post today. When's she due back? I hope she's not stuck at an airport all packed up with no-where to go...

Think she might be :( according to her fb status
  • Hello everyone - went missing again today, as it's just too tempting to get out and garden in this weather... Potted loads of things on and sowed more carrots and leeks -the last ones I sowed are now up, and the g/house is starting to groan with all the trays.

***Frost is forecast from tomorrow**** for any of you with unheated g/houses, like mine.

Anyway, I came back in rather later than expected, slapped a CD of "Verdi's Greatest Operatic Doo-Dahs" on the boom-box, and warbled my way round the Sitting-Room at full volume (me, not the boom-box) while cleaning and dusting away. DD is disgusted and says I am tone-deaf

So after all that singing, I am here to claim my Living Room Star:

Tuesday - Sitting Room and Hallway STAR PLEASE, TOOTS! :j:j
