soappie thanks for the thoughts but I do really want to go proper abroad!!! and I am not allowed to fly and the train is meant to be a no-no as well!
So car and ferry then? It still give you lots of options. Have you got a list of places to which you could reasonably make the journey?
serena - thats a brilliant idea - i will take some photos and email you - its nothing wonderful at the minute!
It is brilliant - she's come up with some fabulous suggestions for my garden which I hope to work on this weekend.

I have decluttered two 12 year old sofas onto the front garden and let in two new leather sofas

NDN has taken the old sofas - but NOT to the tip - his BIL, (who is going to do my roof when I get round to actually asking him to) has asked if he could have them as he, GF and baby have been given notice to quit their furnished place (or have given notice) and need some furniture, they're hoping for a council house. So the sofas are in NDN's lockup in the interim.:T:T:A
I hope you are feeling suitably virtuous :A

I had a list for today I'm sure..

We are up to OH bring the big CoD upstairs for himself and then I can start decanting boxes of baby stuff into drawers.. Actuall.. no I can't they are mainly all in the bottom of the wardrobe which is barely visible at the moment.

DD3 now has a bedside cupabord for her nappies to live in.
The PS2 and associated junk is now back in the boys room...
The pram is in DD1s room lol..

So I am here out of the way!

Books etc off the top of OH's cupboard
Cupboard moved to end of the bed..
big cupboard brought upstairs and filled
DD1's stuff back into her room..
They are piled on the bed and she can move them to the shelves later.
baby stuff decanted into chest of drawers.. unwashed of course.. I'll do that on a nice day in June!
Box to box up and post.. :D.. FLING

THEN.. I can start on the next phase!!

Oh.. I want to list 5 things on ebay too..
