Mumto5 sorry to hear about your Nan - i hope she slips away peacefully and not on wednesday - maybe she was hanging on for her birthday - that often happens. As for the uniform carry on - that is ridiculous - I would def be writing to the gorvenors/LEA/local paper and any one else - my nieces and nephew have very strict uniform rules and there is only 2 places that stock it BUT the Mums run a second hand uniform shop just before term starts and my SIL gets loads there - might be something to try?
awh huge (((hugs))) honey - that is so not fair - and so stupid of him - he's the one that should be apologising more than the kids:mad: if they are all out enjoying themselves then sit down and watch tv or something - you need to get these kids sorted with their rooms - they need to be doing it - tomorrow you are allowed to supervise but not do the rooms - horrible teenagres should be able to sort and put their own washing in the WM - time for some law and order in your house angel - you are a lovely Mum but they are taking advantage IMHO!!!! - and have a quiet(or loud) word in DH's shell- like and tell him he must not countermand discipline again - it needs to be a united front - if he has a problem then he needs to discuss it with you first and see if a compromise can be found (IMHO) (sorry - no kids or OH here so I might be way out of line xx)
Diva how lovely to see you all bedecked in purple again - hope you soon feel better and stop auditioning for the exorcist!!!! (((hugs)))
piggers could you slow down a bit with the post count - I will never catch up at this rate!!!!:rotfl: great numbers!!!:T
Aunty cor you are brave!!!!
craftdaft having time with friends is important - f**lure is a swear word here -it doesnt happen - you did do something - and it was more than you would have normally:T
Boddy sorry to hear about DB & SiL -big healing vibes sent their way xx
Emma133 Happy Birthday - hope you have had a brilliant day
EastMidsGal sorry i cant help - I suspect if they are cotton you will get colour fading - are they a colour that you could re-dye if they fade too much? try finding a machine wash blue dye first so that you have a back up plan - and check the label on the covers for advice too!
Mudders Hiya and sorry to hear the children are poorly - be careful not to catch it - how's stripes - give her a cuddle from me please!!
Mummyyof5 ooooh thats as lovely trip to look forward to and :money:
LameWolf (((hugs))) hope its not too long before you get some more 'boarders'!! and as for being a bit redundant - ......forget it!!! Who would keep MR LW cosy at night? Who would tell MR LW that he is loved and adored? Who would look after mr LW when he is poorly? Who would give Mr LW the list to do everyday? need I go on..............:D
Dorastar :T:T:T welldone honey - I know its nothing new but it helps us all when we hear someone telling about how its made a difference - the night before jobs are a 'must' in my opinion - you never know when you are going to sleep in or some other disaster strikes and if you are a bit organised it makes it all a lot easier.
pigpen my condolences to you and your family - thats sad news - I hope your Mother will be ok (((hugs)))
and what do you lot think you were on - your holidays??? being on the wrong thread is no excuse for not flying - you can go look there anytime - get back to flying:rotfl:
Marru for the 1st couple of weeks take it slowly - just do what you can each day and then forget what you didnt do - dont carry stuff over - things will get easier as you start to do your 2nd week - dont burn yourself out trying to do it all at once
Jinky nice to see you posting again (((hugs))))
Dusty here here!!!!:T:D
Triker - repeat after me - I must ebay, I must ebay for money I must ebay to get rid of the junk, I must ebay to make my BR a haven, I must do it tomorrow or toots will kick my butt!!!!!!
Vanilla is he teething - its very tiring for you (((hugs)))

have had my mate (that used to be across the road) in for a visit
have done all my dailies

Its just not good enough!!!!
(toots creeps out quietly and heaves a sigh of relief - well that didnt go too bad!)
But for a time we WERE all flying, in and out of different fora
I have decluttered dinner.
Will unload and restack the DW in a moment
then I AM going to have an early night!
Actually, while I think about it, if anyone has a couple of spare vibes going I could do with some for tomorrow morning.
The place I' m working at is vast. Normally I only interact with people from the same small department I work in. This new project they have given me involves having a meeting with someone I knew about 3 years ago in a former life.
There may be shades of things past drawn up and I need strength to cope with them please.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Strength/coping vibes are on their way to you. I obviously don't know what the issues are, but I'm sure that you have all the skills you need to deal with this situation. You've often given others on here such good advice and found just the right words.
I'm trying to motivate myself to get my behind off the sofa and make a start on our bedroom. When we moved all the rooms around last year it was the tidiest room in the house for a short while - until I had to bring all my carp down from the loft to make space for DS1. If I take lappy upstairs I can listen to all my old favourites on youtube, starting with Smokie, I think. Valli/Mummyof5 - the concert was last Friday, but I didn't find out until Saturday.
Ok, I think I'll do this...0 -

evening all
Flying wise today has only been washing up, doing the lunches and that's about it. We have also started moving rooms around - my plan for this sat when DH is away is to declutter again - i reckon I can get rid of quite a few books and other things that we've just got hanging around.
Hope everyone is ok, haven't had chance to catch up and won't tomorrow as it's a very long day (evening course after work).
Sorry if there's not enough flying in the post...Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
