Weekly Flylady Thread 12th April 2010

Evening all - sorry haven't had time to get on and catch up with everyone's news yet. Have been getting into my work routine and actually managed to drop ds off at nursery and get myself into work nice and early this morning without a hair out of place.

Have been making sure everything is packed the night before, clothes laid out, ds bag ready, lunch made up ready etc etc Seriously big deal for me being ready cos I'm normally a do-it-in-the-morning lady which is stupid cos I am the world's worst morning person! But this morning I actually had time to sit and cuddle my kids instead of shout at them:T

Am also being really strict with work to do list which could be as long as a toilet roll and procrastinated about for ever. Have started a small list every day now (written out the night before) and getting it done, then anything else is a bonus.

Haven't tackled the lists but dh is actually starting to do more of his share now he's seen me tootling around and picking up things after me, him and the icklies. Am making bed and S&S and doing dw as quick as needed too.

Sorry to drivel on, and I know I am not saying anything new - but OMG it seriously is making such a big difference.

Oooohhhh - nearly didn't find us!

Kitchen finished and laundary sorted, ironed, underwear sorted and everything put away. Greenhouse water and garden s/s'ed. I'm not claiming a star because although I've spring cleaned the kitchen I've probably not done everything on the list.

Off to sew in name labels on DS's clothes for next week's school residential. Think I'll clean the bathroom too so I can have a nice bath later.
