Have you done your annual declaration yet? They will probably wait for that to be done before they release the potential payment. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

So what would you be like if you got it in the first place and then found out it was an overpayment and you had to pay it back? Surly this way is better0
-
well karen, that depends on whether you know you are being underpaid but cant do anything about it..up until January me, hubby and 2 teenage sons were trying to survive on £180 a week, then TC gave us an extra £20 a week, so we are now trying to live on £200 a week.
so NO it is NOT better that way.

So no wages or child benefit no? You shouldn't be relying on tax credits anyway, what would you do if system got dropped?0
-
no karen no wages, hubby lost his job end of november, and those figures include everything,
Why shouldnt we be relying on TC?? they are money for our children, my oldest is thinking of not continuing college and finding a job because of the lack of money, it costs £9 a day to send him to college and my youngest to school, we dont get free school meals or anything.

you misunderstod me. One of the partys running for election wants to stop tax credits altogether. What would you do then? Your partner and you not claiming jsa?0
-
my hubby is claiming CB ESA.0
-
As far as I know, the Conservatives want to cut tax credits for families whose income is under 50k (which is hardly the breadline), I looked this up as I was under this impression too.....0
-
So then your total income is then the £200 per week plus your oh's jsa? Are you getting help with your rent, council tax as well?0
