For Heaven's sake can we go back to subscribing to threads by default.
Newbies are posting on the forums and then are not heard from again. It is probable that they don't know they have had a response nor even where to find it.
The rest of us, who try to help, are, therefore, just wasting our time and I'm getting heartily fed up with it.
